Welcome to NMHS!

  • Montgomery County Community Members:Over the past years, we have had more than our share of loss and grief within Montgomery County. We have witnessed so many positive actions take place because of these losses that have consequently helped to weave the bonds of community even closer.  This year on November 4th the Theater Troupe at North Montgomery High School will be hosting their first annual blood drive that will bring our vision of community together through love.

We will be creating a Wall of Love to show solidarity of community. This Wall of Love will consist of dedications to those we love and images to help memorialize these efforts. It will look like a large collage of pictures and sheets of dedication with names written upon them. These people might be alive or they might be missed. These people might have been lost to cancer or lost to suicide. These people might be a war veteran who lives on your street or the nurse who helped calm you and your child in a time of need. This wall is about remembering and honoring those who are on our minds. It's about love.

We want to have as many pints of blood donated as possible as well as allow people to sign up the the Be the Match marrow registry on Saturday November 4th, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

All community members who donate blood will receive:

    • a chance to save the life of a person in need
    • free child care during the donation process (thanks to the Sunshine Society and Theater Troupe)
    • free snacks and refreshments
    • smiles, gratitude, and a sense of community and love
All those who register with Be the Match marrow registry will receive:

  • Welcome to North Montgomery High School, an A rated school by the Indiana Department of Education. As Principal, I place great value on working in conjunction with students, staff, parents and the community to ensure we uphold the great tradition of the Chargin’ Chargers. The vision which guides us can be summed up in the acronym SAFE, which represents Skills to Achieve Future Excellence. More specifically, SAFE is our commitment to make sure North Montgomery High School is a place where students come first in everything we do. It is a place where a safe learning environment exists and where students acquire the 21st century skills needed to compete on a world stage. It is a place where our students are encouraged to challenge themselves both mentally and physically. Finally, North Montgomery High School is a place where the adults care about kids and make it their mission to prepare our students for life beyond these walls.
