West Central Indiana Career and Technical Education
Through the West Central Cooperative, NMHS juniors and seniors are able to participate in programs at area schools. These programs are designed to prepare students for a trade or further education. Some programs have limited space. High school counselors will provide students with additional information during course scheduling.

Early Childhood Education (ECE)
The ECE Program prepares student for employment in early childhood, education and related services, and provides the foundation for study in higher education in these prospective careers. Students will participate in in-class work as well as training and experience at our district's preschool at Pleasant Hill Elementary. articulation with postsecondary programs is encouraged.

The cosmetology course is a two-year program offered to students to obtain training as a cosmetologist. The students enroll in a pre-determined accredited beauty college and receive high school credit for their training. Training leads to the Indiana State Board of Beauty Examiniation for an Indiana license. Students enter the program during the summer following their junior year and complete the necessary hours during their senior year.
