Sports Medicine
Sports medicine services are provided to the student athletes of North Montgomery High School and North Montgomery Middle School through a partnership with Hendricks Regional Health.
Our sports medicine partnership allows the student athletes to have access to two experienced athletic trainers, non-operative physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare providers who share the goal of supporting student athletes and helping them succeed in their athletic endeavors and everyday activities.
Our athletic trainers work to provide preventative care and emergency care, to conduct evaluations to obtain a clinical diagnosis, and to administer therapeutic interventions for a variety of injuries and medical conditions. The NMMS and NMHS athletic training facilities, equipped with an assortment of modalities and rehabilitation equipment, provide an ideal environment for the care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Isaac Hook, ATC/L became part of the NMHS team in November of 2005, after a short stint as the head athletic trainer at Northeast High School in Fort. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Hook studied at Purdue University where he received Bachelor's degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Education, as well as a minor in Health and Safety Education.
Adrienne Willis, DAT, LAT became a part of the NMHS and NMMS team in 2021 while pursuing her doctorate degree in athletic training at Indiana State University. Dr. Willis attended California State University, Northridge, earning a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.
